Life Style Funeral Company is an expanding Geelong owned
funeral service that offers affordable, caring and dignified
funerals. Our services specifically focus on reflecting and
celebrating the unique life of each person.
At Life Style our staff will really take the time to get to
know you and understand your needs. They will work alongside
you to guide you through the many aspects of arranging a funeral
either for a loved one or for yourself.

If you would like to talk about the many options available
for personal and meaningful funeral services, one of our trained
funeral consultants will arrange to meet with you. This can
be done in the privacy of your own home or at either of our
office locations.
A complimentary meeting provides you with the opportunity to
consider the wide range of options available in funeral planning
today. It means you can make the important decisions and arrangements
yourself. Your preferences for your funeral are recorded at
the time of the meeting.

Pre-planning a funeral means that you choose the type and style
of funeral service you want and decide how much you want to
spend in advance.
Some important issues to consider are:
- the type and style of funeral you would prefer
- where you would like the service to be held
- who would conduct the funeral
- whether you prefer to be buried or cremated
- which cemetery or crematorium you choose
- your choice of style of coffin or casket
- your choice of flowers, music and other symbols
- the placing of death and funeral notices in newspapers
- the type of mourning vehicles you may require
- any other symbols or services you may wish to have
- how much you wish to spend on your funeral

The range of Pre Arranged and Pre Paid Funeral Plan
Options we have to offer are:
A. Pre Arranged Funeral Plan
A complimentary Pre Arrangement meeting provides you with the
opportunity to consider the wide range of options in funeral
planning available today. It means you can make the important
decisions and arrangements yourself. Your preferences for your
funeral are recorded and calculated at the time of the meeting.
You will receive a copy of the arrangement and the cost of the
funeral at the current price.
B. Fully Paid Funeral Plan
This option requires your decision to fully pay for your funeral
now. When the type of service and costs have been agreed upon,
you can pay the whole amount in one payment and your fully paid
pre paid funeral service contract will be sent to you. You can
be assured of no further costs for the contracted service. Your
money is invested according to the Pre Paid Monies Act (1993)
so you can always be confident that your investment is secure.
C. Funeral Plan Paid by Instalment
Payment by instalment whereby the final cost of the funeral
plan is recalculated prior to the final payment to cover the
increased costs over time. You can pay by instalment over 1,
2 or 3 years. Your pre paid funeral contract would not be protected
from price increases until the final payment has been made.
However it is worth remembering that the interest accrued during
the term of the instalment plan may reduce any increase in costs.
D. Funeral Bond
You can take out a funeral bond in which you invest a maximum
amount of $5000. This amount may not cover the cost of the funeral
in full but can be set aside for funeral expenses.

Whichever payment option you choose - the money you invest
in your pre paid funeral plan or bond is held independently
and capital guaranteed until it is required.
It is worth noting that Life Style Funeral Company
CANNOT access your funds until we have provided the service.
It is a good practice to keep your Pre Paid Funeral Contract
along with other important documents in a safe place, and inform
your family or legal representative where they are kept.
The Life Style Funeral Company assures you that what you have
planned and paid for will be carried out according to your wishes
when the time comes.

For Centrelink or Veterans’ Affairs
pension recipients, a pre paid funeral plan can enable you to
maximise your pension entitlement. This is because money allocated
to a pre paid funeral plan is not subject to income and asset
tests.
